The Light of creativity.
If you were to ask me what I would say my soul purpose is, it would be to honour the vow I made at my Ordination as an Interfaith Minister:
“Here I am, wherever I am, shining my light naturally. I vow to see the sacred in my self and the apparent other, and release them into the truth of who we are”
I would now add:
“and to let the world know that each child is valuable… autistic or non-autistic alike”.
“I don’t want my thoughts to die with me, I want to have done something. I’m not interested in power, or piles of money. I want to leave something behind. I want to make a positive contribution – know that my life has meaning.”
― Temple Grandin
“All of the features that characterize Asperger syndrome can be found in varying degrees in the normal population”
― Lorna Wing
Two of many quotes which have deep and resonant meaning for me..
