Double Sue’s Dialogue

September 19, 2023

By Sue Bayley

Good afternoon from the Welsh Shropshire borders in the U.K.

This painting is a celebration between the Double Sue Duo, that started on Woman Unleashed, continued in Hawaii on retreat, and built in the Intentional Creativity painting of The Visionary.

Since then much has happened in our lives, separately and collectively in www.TangledTreeTribe, and more is unfolding moment by moment.

As Susan said in a remark earlier: “6 years!!!!!”. so what makes it alive and aligned for all this time:

We are similar.

We are different.

Our values are congruent and consistent.

We are honest with each other.

We encourage each other.

We forgive muddles between each other.

And probably if we were to stretch out our Messenger feed over the years, we could walk across the pond to each other’s homes, where each of us would welcome the other in a moment’s notice.

What if this became an approach towards our clients, and they learned to live with what is and what was.

As I type this, I can hear my critic go “oh yeah” but why not?

So much human suffering is because of expectations, control, manipulation, and being unable to trust our own inner knowing.

Something within each one of us, if we quit the external noise and drama for a moment, and go within.

This is where you will know if the person in front of you is what they appear to be.

So we find 10 minutes initially, to sit with the first brew of the day, and breathe deep into our bellies, and wait for inspiration beyond the chatter. if the critic appears, send them on a sabbatical, and go back to the breath.

You be even more surprised if you take a pen or a paintbrush or a voice recording app, and express what you learned in those 10 minutes.

Contrary to belief, it saves you time ultimately because you know where your focus is, and you say no, to things outside the scope of that self-identified remit.

And guess what, the more you do it the more people you are in synch with, will have similar or complementary ideas, as they are tapping into the same vibrations.

“I used to think that I was the strangest person in the world. But then I thought. There are so many people in the world. There must be someone just like me, who feels bizarre and flawed in the same ways I do. I would imagine her. And imagine her out there and read this and know that. YES. It’s true I’m here, and just as strange as you.” Frieda Kahlo
