A Thought Provoking Prompt

If you had to give up one word that you use regularly, what would it be?

What a great thought provoking prompt.

I think my word would be comparison.

Because when I follow my soul, I flow. And when I get into comparison with my past self or another individual, I freeze.

I will share some words that poured out of me earlier today:

“ I keep hearing my own words come back to me.

In Potentia, through to the future self, trusting your inner knowing, and consulting my wisdom of my inner council that has been brought me through the darkest times and will hold dark moments of the future”.

So to give these phrases some context, one of the tools that I have in my kit bag is that of Interfaith Minister. And before ordination we had to write a vow: mine was and still is: “Here I am wherever I am shining my light naturally, I vow to see the sacred in myself and the apparent other, and release the truth of who we are”.

Now I here words like Shining, Truth, Who we are, everywhere.

So if those words were on my lips back in 2005/2006, why am I feeling compelled to act now?

Guess I go back to myinnertribe.me, and listen to the wisdom of the lover, the friend, the queen and the warrior inside of me, and of course my beloved inner child and ask them.

“It is always important to know when something has reached its end. Closing circles, shutting doors, finishing chapters, it doesn’t matter what we call it; what matters is to leave in the past those moments in life that are over- Paulo Coelho
